Sidekick Splatter

Two years ago I randomly picked up a book we had piled up with my mums hoard of random things she some how acquires. It was called The Traveller and is written by John Twelve Hawks.

For some reason that I can’t quite recall, I was completely captivated by it and immediately sought out the 2nd book (Dark River). I finished that as fast as I got it and then went on a frantic search for the next book(Golden City). During my search it was said that the book was already published but I couldn’t find it anywhere. No shop had it listed so I gave up. (Lol. I’m sure I spammed my facebook a few times with my desire to get the third book.)

I kept thinking of the book over the past couple of years, the story just wouldn’t leave my mind but I always forgot to search for it when I had the means to.

Tonight, once again I randomly thought of the books, remembering I’ve let a friend borrow them, and although I don’t have a computer with me, I have my phone!!! Instantly I put in a search for it and found the last book in this trilogy selling on Amazon. I was fully expecting it to be the same result as before but I’m seriously freaking happy right now.

Yesterday and tonight I was speaking with friends about how much I depend on my smartphone now and how I can’t imagine my life without it… And then this happens.
